Physical Education at a Galance
“Live most and serve best”- The main objective of World Health organization.
Keeping this in view and stressing upon the vitality of health and health education in human life, the national policy of education has emphasized the need of physical education at all levels. It is so because the subject of physical education studies the human behavior in our society. It is process of acquiring social, mental and physical skills necessary for the survival of culture, games and sports. It develops a positive attitude and promotes qualities of leadership. Thus the study of physical education is indispensable for the individual and national prosperity and promotes social values to the great extent.
In our institution Physical Education is one of the compulsory subjects for STD XI & XII. Our students have serious participation in this subject. Not only this, they obtained better marks last year and the subject wise percentage of this subject was 87% .Now we hope for 90% above marks.
Many of our students take this subject as their professional career. After +2they enter in the B.P.Ed & BPE,NIS etc. Some of the students got services through this subject.Master Sunil kumar (Best Cricket player) has been posted in Delhi Public School Bhopal, Master Ali Raza(Kho Kho Player) has been posted in Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Dhanbad. Now he is working at
Also some of the students are staying in Amravati,Gwaliar,Bhopal etc.
Performances in sports :
In the modern age,man’s life is full of Physical and Mental stress which can be relieved by physical exercise and sports activities.In this institution many competitions are conducted.many of our students participated at District,State and National levels in cricket,Kho-Kho,atheletics,Hockey,table Tennis,Badminton,Basket Ball,Hand Ball and Yoga.In each and every year 10-15 students participated in the All India Inter Zonal National Sports organized by our organization.
Sports Achievements:-2012-2013
i. Anjali Kumari Singh of std-XI C participated in SGFI(School Games Federation of India in Atheletics(100 mts High Jump) in the year 2012(Itawa,UP) and in 2013(Ranchi ,Jharkhand)
ii. Master Ritanshu Kumar of std-XI C has gone to participate in National level Badminton Championship-2014,being held at Hissar(Haryana),on 7th September,2014.
iii. Master Shrestha(std-XI C),Sailesh Kumar (XI C) and Adarsh Kumar std-(XB) have gone to participate in State level cricket Championship being conducted at JRD Tata from 30th September,2014.
